Mitt namn är Karl Larsson, jag är konstnär och arbetar främst med olika sociala processer som utgångspunkt i mitt konstnärsskap. Alltså möten av olika slag, som jag försöker styra över. Detta då jag är intresserad av människor och hur vi beter oss, i förhållande till varandra, till vår miljö. Jag visar upp dessa skådespel i form av dokumentation med hjälp av min kamera.
Jag gillar att arbeta i längre projekt (minimum 6 månader – 1 år) där jag har möjlighet att utveckla och utvecklas i processen. Det är även ett ställningstagande som sådant att vi alla behöver tänka till. Att vara vad jag kallar dokumentalist, det vill säga alltid ha med min kamera skapar möten med de miljöer jag upplever. Det är i första hand dessa möten som syns här på denna bloggen. De olika konstprojekten kommer ibland in och jag berättar om dem eller länkar till dem. kolla gärna in min hemsida:
Karl Larsson is my name Im an artist that works within a multiple of different areas of art, the process is a key point for me and my art therefore the practice as such in terms of actual technique is not as important as the abstract base from where my art starts.
I have been using different techniques such as photography, video, performance, social art, sound and artists book as the outcome of my different projects. It all depends on how i interpret the process on site.
