Work with PUUT library, part of the GIBCA- extended project,
PUUT library is my artists books project where I make artists books myself, so Its unique in that matter, the idea is based upon the anti hierarchy of that no one can own it all, you cant buy the library you can be a co-owner. This is therefore an attitude towards the (contemporary) art (market) and it’s players (i.e an capitalist approach) not as a career option where I make much fuzz and scream to claim to be the voice of the voiceless. The approach where you as an artist put yourself on a pedestal and decides what and how “the rabble” supposed to take in what’s provided. The avantgarde idéa of the artist is a rather disengaging from the idea of community.
To often;
and here on site at Kvibergs market there have been no exception,
the total absence of the middle-class crowd of contemporary art is for me an important reminder of a perspective that art to often have, the lack of class and monetary aspect is a constant variable that are disregarded not that we all know abut it. Just that the market of art is not for us all, but all pay for it. When I take the PUUT-library to a place where most of my colleagues unabashed tell me
– “oh thats where people sell stolen goods”

Anyhow I like to do art my way (like so many other artists), when the main idea is to create an career this to any costs Im out of this path. I like to make another world, another system far away form the extrem hierarchy that we all ar force feed with.

September 2019, I like september its a month where both light and temperature changes much (at least here in Sweden, the parts that I have been living in) often its very comfortable.

Street view of Gothenburg.

I rather enjoy to aim my camera downwards toward the ground.
